Date: February 13 – 17th (Thursday – Monday )

TEAM: 15U, 16U, 18U

Cost: $650USD + GST

*Deposit of 50% will secure your son’s space in the event with full payment being Paid 1  Month Prior to Event Start Date.  Deposits paid are Non-Refundable and are needed to secure your spot in the event.*

This event is by Invitation only, all players must be identified by BLE staff.

Tournament site 

Trip will Include:

– Tournament fees in the RED WHITE & BLUE tournament and all fee’s associated with pre tournament camp, exhibition games and Coaching/instruction

– Team hat/shirt & Jersey.

* Players are responsible for airfare, lodging, food and transportation to and from fields.

Airfare
To be booked and paid for by each individual player/family.  Coaches will travel on the Wednesday, Feb., 12th or early morning of 13th (Thursday) with practice beginning that afternoon. Coaches are flying home on evening of Feb. 17th – around 7 pm.

Lodging

Tentative schedule:

*On a daily bases each team will have the opportunity to have team time (Practice), skill development time with team and professional coaches as well as play games.

Thursday, February 13th :

1:00pm        Team Practice and potential Exhibition Game/Scrimmage

Friday, February 14th :

10:00 – 12:00am ~ Specialty session + Team Time

1:00 – 4pm ~ Practice

Saturday, February 15 to Monday, February 17th – Tournament play – Games TBA

 

Coaches in the past have included:

Marty Lehn – Big League Experience Camp operator/Owner, Former Canadian Olympic team coach and MLB Scout with Milwaukee Brewers

Albie Lopez – 12 year MLB pitcher and World Series Champion with Arizona D-Backs.  Hall of Fame inductee at Mesa College, Arizona.

Shea Hillenbrand – 2 time MLB All-Start with Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays.  Mesa CC Hall of Fame inductee

Bob Didier – Former MLB Catcher, Coach and Scout.  Bob is a 5 time World series Champion – 2 with Toronto (’92 & ’93) and 3 times with the Yankees (’98, ’99 & ’00)

Dustin Molleken – Former MLB pitcher with the Detroit Tigers and Pan Am Gold Medalist with Team Canada

Eric Ruben – Regional Rep for PitchHit Nation (Tom House Baseball) and Associate Scout with Atlanta Braves organization

Jordan Blundell – Coach of Edmonton Prospects Collegiate program and Former Head coach at Vancouver Island University

Brad Robinson – Operator/owner of the Complete Athlete and former Junior National team player.

Paul Mrazek – Cranbrook Bandits head coach (American Legions) and Montana Baseball Coaches Conferences Director

A designated Non Refundable Deposit must be paid to reserve your spot in the event (50% of Tournament and Travel Events and 25% for camps).  Please understand that this is a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for any circumstance as it is needed to secure staff and operations. *Please understand that exceptions have been made to carry over/transfer to family member the Non Refundable Deposit and full payments for a future event but only under special circumstances and must be agreed upon by management. For ‘Best of the West” Tournament Play – Weather or Cancellation:

In the case of weather or cancellation of games or an event, the following will be our refund policy. Please note that we will try our best to get your games and event in.

0 games = 90% refund    1 game = 67% refund      2 games = 33% refund    3 or more = no refund

For Team BLE Travel events – Weather or Cancellation:

Withdrawal from a BLE event one month prior to the start date will result in NO REFUND.  Once again, management does reserve that right to offer a credit under special circumstances. (fm1)
