2024 – 11U SPRING TRAINING EVENT – ARIZONA

Special News bulletin: Big League Experience will be holding a Spring Training Camp in Mesa/Gilbert, Arizona that will include the opportunity to play in a Competitive tournament that will include teams from a number of US states and Canada

WHERE: Mesa/Gilbert, Arizona
DATE: March 18 – 24 (Monday – Sunday)

PRE-TOURNAMENT SPRING TRAINING CAMP: From Monday to Thursday (March 18 – 21)
TOURNAMENT: March 22 – 24

INVITATION ONLY. All players must be identified by BLE staff and receive an invitation

COST: $925.00 + GST and must be Paid in Full 4 weeks Prior to event date (by Feb. 18th)

Non Refundable deposits upon Registration to secure spot in event.

GAME TICKET FOR either ASU or potential MLB Game; Tickets will be provided for the players only and handed out prior to the game or at Will call at the Stadium at a designated time.

HOTEL and AIRFARE
Air Fare:          To be booked and paid for by each individual player/family.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: – Subject to change
*On a daily basis each team will have the opportunity to have team time (Practice), skill development time with team and professional coaches as well as play game(s)/intersquad.

Monday, March 18                Practice; 12pm (Practice time)

Tuesday, March 19               Practice 10am – 12pm & 1 – 3pm

Wednesday, March 20       Practice 10am 12pm & 6 – 8pm

Afternoon Team Time

Thursday, March 21           Practice 9 – 11 & either afternoon exhibition game or intersquad

Friday to Sunday – March 22 to 24 – West Coast Premier Championship Tournament

*Times are subject to change and adjust to enhance overall program and accommodate field availability*

 

PAST INSTRUCTIONAL TEAM HAS INCLUDED:

Marty Lehn – BLE Owner and Operator and Former Canadian National Team coach and MLB Scout (Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies).

Albie Lopez – 12 year MLB pitcher and World Series Champion with Arizona D-Backs

Bob Didier – 5 time World Series champion with Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees and former MLB catcher

Jordan Blundell – Head Collegiate coach for the Edmonton Prospects and former professional player

Brad Robinson – Owner/Operator of “The Complete Athlete”, former player with Team Canada and Baseball BC Clinician

Eddie Marin – Scout for Generales De Durango (Mexican League), Hitting Coach Team BLE

Lachlan Fontaine – Former Professional player in the Seattle Mariners organization and Canadian National Team Player/Pitcher

Payment Policy:

A designated Non Refundable Deposit must be paid to reserve your spot in the event (50% of Tournament and Travel Events and 25% for camps).  Please understand that this is a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for any circumstance as it is needed to secure staff and operations. *Please understand that exceptions have been made to carry over/transfer to family member the Non Refundable Deposit and full payments for a future event but only under special circumstances and must be agreed upon by management. For ‘Best of the West” Tournament Play – Weather or Cancellation:

In the case of weather or cancellation of games or an event, the following will be our refund policy. Please note that we will try our best to get your games and event in.

0 games = 90% refund    1 game = 67% refund      2 games = 33% refund    3 or more = no refund

For Team BLE Travel events – Weather or Cancellation:

Withdrawal from a BLE event one month prior to the start date will result in NO REFUND.  Once again, management does reserve that right to offer a credit under special circumstances. (fm1)
