TEAM BLE Scout Team

EVENT INFORMATION

The BLE Scout Team will be participating in the “Best of the West” Premier Showcase being held in Kamloops, B.C. from April 29th to May 3rd. The event will have a number of MLB Scouts, College coaches and our Jr. Canadian National team Head Coach Greg Hamilton in attendance.  It is a great opportunity to display your skills in front of some watchful eyes and be a part of an elite tournament that will feature many of Canada’s best talent and Teams.

Elite Coaches in Past have Included:

Jordan Blundell – Former Professional player and now Head Coach of Edmonton Prospects Collegiate team

Albie Lopez – Former MLB pitcher and World Champion with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Former Team USA Pitcher

Shea Hillenbrand – 2 x MLB All-Star with Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays

Dustin Molleken – Team Canada pitching coach and former MLB pitcher with the Detroit Tigers as well as Pan American Games Gold medalist with Team Canada

Rene Tosoni – Former Outfielder with the Minnesota Twins and Member of Team Canada’s World Baseball Classic team

Eric Owens – Former MLB player and Hitting Co Ordinator with the LA Dodgers and hitting coach with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Liam Rihela – Member of Trinity University (Texas) National Championship team and Thompson Rivers University All Conference SS.

 

Cost:

Position and Two Way:  $395 + GST (covers all fees associated with tournament and attire – Hat, Dri fit shirt – jersey provided)

Pitcher Only: $325 + GST (covers all fees associated with tournament and attire – Hat, Dri fit shirt – jersey provided)

Big League Experience Release of Liability, Payment and Refund Policy

I release and forever discharge Big League Experience, staff, coaches, contracted staff, and volunteers from any liability that may occur during participation in this event. Participant does also hereby grant and convey unto the Big League Experience the irrevocable permission to use his or her voice, image or likeness in any media now or hereafter existing in connection with all or any part of the Events, for any purpose whatsoever, including the commercial purposes of Big League Experience, and acknowledge that no royalties, fees or other compensation whatsoever will be provided to me in connection thereto”

Payment Policy:

A designated Non Refundable Deposit must be paid to reserve your spot in the event (50% of Tournament and Travel Events and 25% for camps).  Please understand that this is a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for any circumstance as it is needed to secure staff and operations. Full payment for all events must be received 30 days prior to the start of the event or you risk losing your spot as well as your Non Refundable Deposit.  Please email at; mail@bigleagueexperience.com if alteration to this time frame is needed.

*Please understand that exceptions have been made to carry over/transfer to family member the Non Refundable Deposit and full payments for a future event but only under special circumstances and must be agreed upon by management. Such circumstances include, Injury (doctors note needed), family matters or team qualifies for Provincial/State or National Championship play.

For ‘Best of the West” Tournament Play – Weather or Cancellation:

In the case of weather or cancellation of games or an event, the following will be our refund policy. Please note that we will try our best to get your games and event in.

0 games = 90% refund    1 game = 67% refund      2 games = 33% refund    3 or more = no refund

For Team BLE Travel events – Weather or Cancellation:

Withdrawal from a BLE event one month prior to the start date will result in NO REFUND.  Once again, management does reserve that right to offer a credit under special circumstances. (fm1)
